- Q. Where is Golden Gun Club located?
- A. Golden Gun Club is located in Watkins, Colorado (approx. 22 miles east of downtown Denver). Address and driving direction are here, and a regional map showing the club's location is here.
- Q. I'm not a member of Golden Gun Club, can I shoot at your range?
- A. Our shotgun range is open to the public on scheduled days (See the Shotgun Schedule.) A non-member can come as a guest of a member and shoot on our rifle and pistol ranges. Non-member guests must be accompanied by their host member while at the range.
- Q. Do you rent firearms at your range?
- A. No, you must bring your own firearm to shoot at the range.
- Q. Are the matches at Golden Gun Club open to the public?
- A. Yes, anyone can compete in any of our shooting matches. There is a fee to participate, and members receive a discount on these fees. (See Programs for the various types of matches)
- Q. Are there any firearms that are banned from being shot at the range?
- A. Any firearm with a caliber above and including 50 BMG, and the .416 Barrett are banned from being shot at our range. This is for safety and liability reasons due to the range and power of these cartridges.
- Q. Do I have to be a member of the National Rifle Association (NRA) to be a member of Golden Gun Club?
- A. Yes, we are a 100% NRA membership club. All Golden Gun Club members must also be a member of the NRA.
- Q. Do I have to pay an initiation fee to become an Associate Member of the Club?
- A. No, the initiation fee is only for first year full membership applicants, not for associate memberships.
- Q. I'm a member and I've changed my address, who do I contact?
- A. Please contact the Club Secretary by phone or e-mail, with your information changes.
