How's it done? Let's follow Kirk as he shoots the pig course"Shooters to the line Please"...
-

At the firing line, the shooter sets out 10 rounds of ammo on the provided staging block...
-

And sees 10 freshly painted targets downrange
-

"For your first set of 5...Ready" The shooter has 20 seconds to load 1 to 5 rounds, and prepare to fire...
-

"Fire" The shooter is given 2 minutes to shoot the 5 animals on the left, firing 1 shot per target, from left to right....
-

Using the provided spotting board, the spotter shows the shooter where each shot lands...
-

Another 20 second ready, and another 2 minutes is given for the 5 animals on the right...
-

"Cease-Fire, Please make the line safe" All guns come off the line...
-

"The line is safe, go forward, set'em up and paint'em"...
-

The targets are set back up on the stands...
-

Then the targets are painted, so the next shooter has a"clean slate". So... come on out and give it a whirl!
-

Happy Camper
-

Beautiful! Where else can you spend half a day, with a great group of people, doing something you love, for about $10?
-

Kevin. Loves the game. He and Kirk are there to help new shooters any way they can.
-

Marlin 1894 Carbine. .357, 44 mag. Durability, reliability, and lower priced than the Marlin Cowboy. Any center-fire rifle suitable for Pistol-Cartridge Silhouette can also be used for the 200 meter shoots.
-

Henry 30-30. New model as of this writing. Brass one has an octagon barrel. If the quality of Henry's 30-30's is consistent with their other rifles, these should be great shooters.
-

Henry Big-Boy .357, 44mag, Basically the same internal design as Marlin 336, with the addition of a transfer bar safety and more heft due to a thick octagon barrel.
-

Henry Golden Boy .22, .22 mag. Real purdy. Octagon barrel. Silky-smooth action. Has become quite popular. Many are using .22 mag rifles at the Pistol-Cartridge shoots.
-

Henry H001T .22, H001TM 22 mag. Great quality. Same sweet action and octagon barrel as the Golden-Boy, with a lower price. Higher stock comb allows it to"cheek-up" nicely.
-

Marlin 39A .22. Along with the Winchester 9422's, Probably the mostpopular rifle for Rimfire Cowboy Silhouette, but the Henrys are gaining in popularity at our shoots.
-

Marlin 336C 30-30. Like the Winchester'94, is a good rifle for 200 meter Shoots. The 336"CB" version (octagon barrel, no longer made) in 30-30& 38-55, is highly prized... Why the h*!! did they stop makin''em?!
-

Marlin 1894 Cowboy. .357, 44mag, Octagon barrel. One of the most sought after models for Pistol-Cartridge Silhouette. Can also be used for 200meter shoots.
-

Marlin 1895 Cowboy 45-70. Like the Winchester 1886, a favorite of Big-Bore enthusiasts at the 200 meter shoots. Most folks who shoot 45-70's at our shoots use pretty light loads.
-

Winchester 1885, 38-55 cal. One of the most graceful Single-Shot designs, and finest calibers, at our 200 meter shoots. Sharps, Stevens, Ballards, Rolling Blocks, etc. are also encountered.
-

Trophy Shoot. Much like any of our other shoots, just $10 more, and trophies go out with the usual awards.
-

7 of our 12 Firing Points. There's nothing like smackin'down iron targets with cowboy rifles!
-
